Question: how does that affect stroke order? Or does that not matter (or matter less) in this case?

Very impressive. Also slightly disturbing, I'm not sure why (just because it is so strange?). I think it is because it looks laborious and forced. I think of calligraphy having a fluid, efortless (even if vigorous) quality, which is relaxing to watch. This is not relaxing to watch. Not sure why. Intriguing.
