At Le Musée des Civilizations de l'Europe et de la Méditerranée in Marseilles, there's an exposition called "Après Babel, Traduire", which includes a translated version of "The directed graph of stereotypical incomprehensibility", 1/15/2009:

Just in case anyone else is puzzled – to get the version including the Chinese – Greek – English cycle in the original LLog post, one must look at the update at the bottom, not the picture in the post.

Romanian to Turkish or Greek struck me. I speak French and Spanish and a trifle of Portuguese . But Romanian has never seemed likely

The French version is missing the Romanian-Chinese link. I think maybe they couldn't fit it. (I discovered this after noticing that the graph is planar.)

@TonyK – the French version would still be planar with that link, though (you basically need to swap the positions of Romanian and Turkish).
I think there are other problems with the French graph, however (but the English version is probably still planar).
