    Those lyrics would seem to work better if you substituted "nucleic" with "lysergic"…

    I cannot help but feel that many more readers would have understood a reference to lysergic acid [1] than understood the reference to nucleic acids. Like Joshua, I was completely bemused by the whole thing until Victor kindly explained it …

    [1] although I have personally always know it as lysergic acid diethylamide rather than just lysergic acid.
