Today's adventure in AI brought yet another robocall, which my Google Assistant intercepted since the calling number (probably spoofed) was not in my contacts list. Here's Google Assistant's rendering of the interaction

Interesting. I continue to get a lot of those Chinese spam calls, and my Google phone usually just gives up and says "no transcript available." The other day, though, it managed to capture "ni hao" although everything else was gobbledygook. Or googledygook.
Perhaps in another ten years my phone will become fluent in Chinese.

Given how Santa is typically portray, it makes perfect sense he'd be full frequently.
