"Poke-Prof" would make more etymological sense. The name invented by Mr Cham inspires a strong reaction of disgust in me which means I can't even bring myself to type it out.

B.Ma, I suspect that if the protagonist of the comic had his professor in his pocket (Poke-Prof = Pocket Professor), it would be a non-issue!
Perhaps Profe-Mon would be better?
