This is pretty funny. Rob Beschizza, "Trump slowed 50%", BoingBoing 4/19/2016:
Everyone sounds drunk or stoned when slowed down 50%, but doing so to Trump reveals that his bizarre, digressive speech patterns are uncannily like a drunk sped up 200%.
So it seems appropriate to try the same trick on some other politicians.

To my ear, Sanders slowed down sounds not so much drunk as weary. Clinton and Cruz mostly just sound older, like geriatric grandparents. Trump is the only one of the four who sounds markedly impaired to me.

Clinton still sounds precise, just slow. Trump sounds slurred.

Sanders sounds like an old geezer who's had a couple of drinks and is speaking slowly to make sure you don't think he's had a couple of drinks.

Slowed-down Trump is a perfect union of affect and content.
Slowed-down Cruz sounds the least intoxicated of them all — which only reinforces the scariness of full-speed Cruz.
Slowed-down Hillary — well, I hope the Oval Office doesn't have a mini-bar.

The fast versions remind me of this brilliant parody, from the days when we had a ridiculous rule in the UK that the voices of Sinn Fein politicians couldn't be broadcast, so they just used to dub them over with actors.
