I like the bit in the crawl about the man who wants to become the first gay astronaut. (Although didn't Lance Bass beat him to that?)

Would this make it a new species? Gorilla sapiens mortalis?

I thought those bunnies weren't even trying to concentrate on the important message the humans were trying to communicate to them.

It is cruel not to also teach Quigley about the after-life consequences of sin.

Will Quigley be allowed to leave the study if he wants to go to a seminary? If he wants to be baptized, who will push him under? Or try to raise him back up?

I can't follow all this chapters and pages on this website. However, I am a teacher that taught english for a very long time to arabs. English was fasinating because it came with powerful nations as it was evident in Aden, Yemen. When we were young we never thought bad of the white man. It came to us later when we saw the devious, subtle, and greedy. It became clear that they wanted us to "shine their shoes". Truely, we felt that. Yet, there was something else about English. There were voices of Freedom, Humanity, Equity, Equality and "Fratenity". We forgot to learn our great heritage and foregot our identity. We understood that when we started to be equal to the white man. The white man still thinks of his superiority. We believed at the start that we are less than the white man because we could not even speak English the way he speaks.
Then the revelation came that this white man is after what we have. He is no more than a "thief" or as you would call him gentleman thief.
Still up to day the white man cannot scape the picture of a greedy and blood thirsty monster. No, avatar would have paid him a tribute.
The English language enabled me to struggle reading some articles or pages of books for free men who are true white and they belong to us "human being". Then gave the English language its human face.
I sound bitter but not hateful. I see the language not as a tool but as a way to emancipation from hegemony and greed.
