A Swedish tv drama about intelligent humanoid robots, Äkta människor (~ "Real People"), came out about 10 years ago. One of the first episodes features a scene where a robot and his owner (a woman, who later in the series will initiate a relationship with the robot, leaving her human husband) are watching some daytime soap opera together. The woman has trouble understanding the plot, asks the robot what is going on, and he explains it to her. I remember watching that back then and thinking to myself "welp, that will never happen". Now I have no doubt that an AI can write a TV drama and maybe soon they will be able to explain the plot of a Days of our Lives episode too. (Well, maybe they already can actually — I'm not following the development that closely)
