Homeworks are due at the start of class (2 pm). During that class you may have to present your results, so it's important to get homeworks done on time. Thanks.
However, since emergencies sometimes arise, I'll allow you a total of up to 10 late days during the term. One day = 24 hours. Exceptions: We'll need all homeworks by Sun. 12/17 no matter what; also, please get Assignment 1 in on time so we can discuss it in class.
Do yourself a favor and don't squander these late days early! I hope you won't have to use many of them. They are only intended to cover situations where you would ordinarily ask for an extension. Rather than ask me, just use a late day: I don't want to be in the position of deciding whose excuses are worthy and whose aren't.
Once you use up your late days, late homeworks will not earn any points. However, they may still be considered in borderline cases for the final grade, so try to turn in all homeworks, even though you might feel they are not to be counted.
